TriCoast Appraisal, LLC was founded by New York State Certified Appraisers, who combine over 50 years of experience in the real estate appraisal industry. The founders have resumes that include several years at the internationally renowned real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. Most recently, both have held the title of Vice President at Vanderbilt Appraisal Company, LLC, one of the largest appraisal firms in the Tri-State Region.
Qualifications of Francoise C. Timoll
Background
Francoise C. Timoll is a Principal of TriCoast Appraisal, LLC and a New York State Certified Residential Appraiser. She has also served as Vice President of Vanderbilt Appraisal Company, LLC as of January 2003.
Prior to that Ms. Timoll was an Associate Appraiser with Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. Valuation Advisory Services. She joined Cushman & Wakefield of Long Island, Inc. in February 1996 and in November 1997 joined Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. Valuation Advisory Services in New York, NY. In 1998 the Board of Directors of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. promoted Ms. Timoll to the position of Associate Director.
Experience
At Vanderbilt, Ms. Timoll has been responsible for the development of the Brooklyn and Queens markets. During 2003, Ms. Timoll increased Brooklyn production by one hundred percent.
Ms. Timoll performed over 2,200 appraisals in 10+ years with Vanderbilt, including cooperatives, condominiums, single-family, multi-family, vacant land, mixed-use, professional and commercial properties. Additionally, she has participated in several arbitration or mediation cases in both Civil and Family Court cases. Ms. Timoll’s role in these proceedings was to determine the fair market value of real estate assets in divorce, estate and litigation cases.
At Cushman & Wakefield, Ms. Timoll worked on various assignments that included vacant land, industrial properties, retail properties, residential properties, office buildings, theaters, cinemas, existing and proposed restaurants as well as analyses of the New York City residential, office, hospitality, parking, theater and retail markets.
Previous Real Estate experience includes five years with Smith Barney Harris Upham & Co., Direct Investments Department as Financial Manager of both Corporate Realty Investment Trust and Corporate Realty Investment Fund.
